Derman (for the well being of the Kurish & Turkish communities)

Derman provides a range of health-related services to Kurdish, Turkish, and Turkish Cypriot people, mainly refugees and asylum seekers in both Hackney and Haringey.

The services include health advocacy, mental health support, mental health advocacy, counselling, family support and welfare rights advice for individuals and families who have been torn apart by war, torture and trauma.

The Ethnic Minority Enterprise Centre (EMEC) is a specialist not-for-profit company providing a range of services to members of black and minority ethnic communities in Glasgow. Established in 1992 EMEC operates as a Company Limited by Guarantee with charitable status and has earned a valuable reputation for providing quality services to its clients and the wider community in Glasgow.
