Make a bid and help us turn up the heat on UK poverty
We are excited to announce that our Wrap Up Against Poverty campaign is back for 2012! This means that once again, we’re giving you the chance to get your hands on top celebrity and designer items of clothing in aid of people living in poverty in the UK.
Our charity eBay auctions will run between January 26th and February 26th and all types of winter clothing will be going under the hammer - with all proceeds directly going to people in financial need.
To name just a few, items up for grabs include coats from Dame Helen Mirren, Sienna Miller, Mathew Horne and Ruth Jones, a scarf from Girls Aloud’s Kimberley Walsh plus some retro jumpers from Richard Branson!
And to add to a spectacular celebrity list, exclusive items have been donated from household fashion names including Topshop and Ted Baker.

How did Wrap Up Against Poverty come about?
Imagine being forced to choose between buying food to feed your family and putting the heating on when winter arrives. It’s sadly a dilemma faced by many people in financial need in the UK.
We launched our first Wrap Up Against Poverty campaign last winter to raise awareness of UK poverty and fundraise to help us support more people in financial need struggling with everyday costs such as warm clothing during the winter months.
Around 13.5 million people, including 3.8 million children, are currently living below the poverty line in Britain today. Every winter, we receive many requests for direct support from people in financial need, with over half of these individuals telling us that they struggle to afford winter clothes to keep themselves and their families warm.
