Celebrity guests, including Gail Porter and Sam Branson, joined Londoners today in an adrenaline-filled charity abseil from the top of The Roof Gardens in Kensington. The 100ft challenge was held to raise funds for Elizabeth Finn Care - a national charity that supports people living in poverty.
Over 100 brave people took part in this year’s Elizabeth Finn Care Charity Abseil, which was officially opened by the Mayor of Kensington and Chelsea, Cllr James Husband. As well as the lovely Gail Porter and Sam Branson, daring participants were joined by top MTV and Kiss 100 presenters Rickie Haywood Williams and Melvin Odoom.
Jon Brown, Managing Director of Virgin Limited Edition and The Roof Gardens, said: “Elizabeth Finn Care is a very important charity for the people of London and one that we are very happy to support. The Roof Gardens has panoramic views across London’s skyline so it’s the perfect backdrop for a memorable abseil experience! I should know as I took part!”
