May 2009 saw the celebration of 112 years since Elizabeth Finn founded our charity, with tea parties held up and down the country as part of the Big Tea Cosy.
Supporters everywhere hosted tea parties in recollection and celebration of this founding tradition of friendship and support. From front rooms to garden parties and beyond - each and every event held was appreciated by all here at Elizabeth Finn Care and, most importantly, the funds raised will help us to assist more people living in poverty.
Now we're ready to start planning the Big Tea Cosy, 2009. But we can't do it alone! We'd love you to get involved in inviting a group of friends to share a cup of tea and chat. It may seem like a simple thing to do, but the results can help us transform a life and, moreover, achieve a change in the destiny of our society.
