Poverty charity Elizabeth Finn Care is warning of widespread job losses and businesses going bust when VAT returns to 17.5% on January 1 – right in the middle of the busiest sales period of the year.

Mobility scooters now share the same classification as a F1 racing car. This means This means the UK will be forced to impose a 10% tax on all scooters entering its borders from outside Europe (nearly all are made in the Far East). EU Aims To Class Mobility Scooters In The Same Category As A Racing Car
